Today we have part 2 of the photos from Michael and Melissa’s Florida destination wedding reception at Bud & Alley’s in Seaside, Florida. Their wedding design theme was Beach Chic Rustic Vintage. Their guests were greeted with custom hand painted candle filled lanterns, mason jars filled with flowers, and grapevine balls. The welcome table had a beautiful vintage window that was hung with handmade lace covered and ribbon love quotes with photographs of the couple pinned to ribbons. The table had a large rustic hand painted lantern with a burlap card sign for gift cards, and burlap and lace covered mason jars filled with fresh flowers. The favors were mason jars wrapped in burlap and lace and filled with honey, a honey dipper tied to the jar and gift tag with thank you hand stamped on one side, and definition of love written in navy blue to match the decor. There was a handmade “Love is Sweet” burlap sign hanging above the cake table. The ceiling was strung with hanging lights and chandeliers with hanging spider mums. The bride and groom’s table had handmade burlap signs with mr. and mrs. The tables were adorned with hand painted lanterns with candles and starfish, burlap and lace covered mason jars, tied with raffia, some filled with white sand from the beach, and filled with hydrangea, spider mums, tulips, roses, and dark centered anemones. Table linens were white with burlap runners. The decor and design blended perfectly with the natural surroundings and the dark rattan chairs and built in benches. The reception was filled with soft romance, with candlelight, soft ocean breezes, and the sounds of the waves crashing. Michael and Melissa’s reception looked like it came straight off the pages of a magazine and had the perfect feel of rustic vintage, yet elegant and chic. The cake was made by “Sweet for Sirten” and was decorated with seashells and flowers. It was truly a Destin beach wedding dream come true in Seaside, Florida!
