This is the gorgeous destination Destin wedding of Micah & Cristie in Florida that we set up in the middle of terrible thunderstorms, tropical storm force winds, lightning, thunder, beach erosion, and the panhandle receiving record rainfall. We weren’t able to place the chandelier due to wind and we had to wrap the chiffon around the bamboo, the chair sashes were blowing in the wind, the chairs actually were blown over during big gusts of the storm…we were afraid at one point we wouldn’t be able to set any flowers out. However, just several short minutes before their ceremony as they were about to arrive, we got a break in the storms. We wish them the best! Watch for the next post with their reception photos.
Wedding Flowers used in this event: white hydrangea painted in shades of purple, green hydrangea, white mums, purple calla lilies, purple tulips, purple stock, lavender roses. The brides bouquet was purple calla lilies and purple tulips, the bout was calla lily and tulip, in the flower girls bouquets we used baby’s breath and purple stock, the corsages were from the mums, roses, tulips and a touch of green limonium. Roses for tossing were a mix of white, lavender, vendela, and painted purple rose petals for a pop of color.
