Matt + Lauren Florida Destination Wedding in Grayton Beach

We had the pleasure of designing and setting up the destination wedding of Tennesee couple, Matt and Lauren. It was a beautiful sun drenched day on the Emerald Coast in Grayton Beach, Florida just a few miles from Destin. It was quite windy which was a little hard on the floral arrangements but they still looked just simply beautiful and elegant! The arrangements were filled with white Peonies, white Freesia, Jumbo white hydrangea, blue hydrangea, and mini green hydrangea. The brides bouquet was a cascade style show stopper! We can’t even put into words just how beautiful the peony filled bouquet truly was.  Our description just doesn’t give justice to it’s beauty and the photos are pretty close but can’t impart the fragrance from the fresh peonies! If only you could smell the flowers through this post!  The wedding was simple and elegant with colors inspired from the sea to create Lauren’s vision of her big day. Matt’s Dad performed the intimate ceremony in front of family and close friends who traveled to Florida with them for their destination wedding.  Make sure and check for the full post of wedding images to come from Destin wedding photographer, Micah Jones, and the highlight film from Destin wedding cinematographer, Dakoda Jones from Studio Eleven One.

Pam Archer - I am enjoying looking at your blog and website. I saw your comment on Preston Bailey’s blog and followed the link here. You are very talented!

I haven’t thought of using Freesia as a trailing flower, but it works beautifully in this bouquet. I will remember that for my own designs. Thanks for the inspiration.
